Terms
Private beta draft. This document is being finalised and will be reviewed by counsel before general availability.
Last updated October 2026.
The short version
- Tarmiq is a private beta, provided “as is”, with no warranty.
- Tarmiq is research assistance. It is not an airworthiness determination. You remain responsible for airworthiness, conformity, traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Your data stays yours. We do not sell it, pool it across customers, or use it to train models.
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you (and the organization you represent) and [Operating entity to be confirmed], which we call “Tarmiq”. Contact: [Contact email to be confirmed].
The private beta
Access is by invitation. The beta is unfinished: features will change, some will be removed, and some described on our website are still being built. We may limit, suspend or end access at any time, and you may stop using Tarmiq at any time. Any fees, if applicable, will be agreed with you in writing.
Who may use Tarmiq
Tarmiq is for business use by people authorized by their organization. Your organization is responsible for the people it adds, for keeping sign-in credentials secure, and for what is done in its workspace.
Research assistance, not an airworthiness determination
- Tarmiq presents public information and evidence about aviation parts and says what that evidence does and does not establish. It does not verify, certify, approve or guarantee any part.
- Tarmiq does not determine that parts are interchangeable, eligible for an aircraft, airworthy, correctly documented or traceable. A shared NSN or a reference association is not such a determination.
- Information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always confirm against authoritative documents, the manufacturer, the applicable authority and qualified personnel before making a decision.
- You remain responsible for airworthiness, conformity, traceability and compliance with every applicable regulation.
- Tarmiq does not know what is in stock or what anything costs.
Your data
- You own the content you put into Tarmiq. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you.
- We do not sell your data, we do not pool your private data with other customers’ data, and we do not use it to train models.
- You can ask us to delete your data. See the privacy draft.
- The beta can lose data or change. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Acceptable use
- Follow the law, including export control, anti-spam and aviation regulations that apply to you.
- Do not enter export-controlled technical data into the private beta.
- Do not use Tarmiq to misrepresent a part, its condition, its certification or its traceability.
- Do not attempt to access another organization’s data, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it, or reverse engineer it.
Emails and RFQs
Tarmiq prepares drafts. A person at your organization decides whether to send them and sends them from their own email app. You are responsible for the content you send and for who you send it to.
Third-party sources and services
Tarmiq draws on public sources, such as FAA and DLA publications, and relies on third-party providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy or availability.
Feedback
If you give us feedback, we may use it to improve Tarmiq without obligation to you. Feedback does not include your private workspace data.
No warranty
The private beta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. That includes warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Tarmiq is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from decisions made using information in Tarmiq. The overall cap on our liability is [Liability cap to be confirmed by counsel].
Governing law
These terms are governed by [Governing law and venue to be confirmed].
Changes
These terms are a draft for the private beta. If they change in a way that matters to you, we will tell beta participants before the change takes effect.
